InventHelp, a leading inventor service company in Pittsburgh, PA, has announced they are creating an invention-focused crowdfunding site, FundAnIdea.com, which will launch in fall 2015.

The site will allow inventors to create a crowdfunding campaign to raise money to help fund their idea. Inventors will be able to upload videos, images, and other materials to build a crowdfunding campaign. What sets FundAnIdea.com apart from other crowdfunding sites is that if an idea is fully funded, InventHelp has the capabilities and resources to help inventors get in touch with companies to discuss potentially manufacturing, marketing, or licensing the product.

“Inventors are now realizing that crowdfunding is another option to assist in the creation of their idea, even if they lack the funds to do it on their own,” said Robert Susa, President of InventHelp. “The biggest problem for crowdfunders right now is they may be unsure how to utilize their funds to create their product or service after their campaigns are fully funded. InventHelp has the resources to assist them.”

Most crowdfunding campaigns are unsuccessful because they are not planned or produced properly. That is why FundAnIdea.com plans to offer ala carte services such as: assisting with obtaining a provisional patent, graphic design, video production services, and social media management.

“I believe that crowdfunding is going to be the new way companies and individuals will be able to fund anything from your favorite band’s new album to the next smart watch,” said Susa. “InventHelp’s mission is to help everyday inventors, and crowdfunding corresponds with our company vision. We are very excited to start this new journey with inventors and crowdfunding donors alike.”

Created with inventors in mind, FundAnIdea.com will be the only site to offer both rewards-based crowdfunding as well as equity-based crowdfunding. In rewards-based crowdfunding, rewards are given for individual contributions from many different people and the creator of the product maintains sole ownership of the project, products and services. For equity-based crowdfunding, financial backers become part-owners of the company they support and if the company performs well, they share in the profits. The equity-based crowdfunding portion of FundAnIdea.com will be powered by http://www.BankRoll.Ventures, founded and operated by Kendall Almerico, one of the top equity crowdfunding attorneys in the country, with all campaigns backed by a FINRA licensed broker-dealer.

The crowdfunding site will launch in fall 2015. Please see InventHelp.com for details. For more information, please contact Matthew Tagliavia at mtagliavia(at)inventhelp(dot)com.
