14 September, 2013: August European has today announced they have discovered a solution to effectively address the annoying and embarrassing transmission shifting failure some 2010 Audi A4 model owners are experiencing.

“So, if your Audi 2010 A4 won’t go in drive or reverse mode, we have an optimized ATF filter as a credible solution to these Audi transmission shifting problems,” says a spokesperson at August European, an auto mechanic facility has been providing excellent services for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volvo, Audi and Volkswagen since 1988.

These transmission problems are usually associated with such models as Audi 2010 A4 with 0B6 gearbox, 2008-2010 A5/S5 with 0B6 gearbox, 2008-2010 A6 with 09L gearbox, 2008-2010 A8 with 09L or 09E gearbox, and the 2010 Q5 with 0B6 gearbox.

“In rare circumstances, if the vehicle was in motion and the ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) strainer becomes loose, the transmission may go into limp mode and can only be driven in third gear. And in cold conditions, the gearbox shifts with a delay, while in hot conditions, suction noises occur,” notes the source.

The source believes that because of a design flaw by Audi engineers, the ATF strainer can come loose from the guide of the ATF pump intake duct. As a result, air can be drawn in. “Air causes the oil to foam, which prevents the clutches from closing completely therefore creating a no drive condition,” the source notes.

The good news, however, is that there is an optimized ATF filter to solve these Audi transmission shifting problems. “We can perform this service for Audi A4 owners experiencing transmission shifting problems,” says the August European San Diego Audi repair shop San Diego Audi repair shop source.
