With The Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association preparing for this year’s UK AD & Biogas at Birmingham’s N.E.C on the 6th and 7th July, shentongroup will be discussing Combined Heat and Power and it’s new large-scale CHP units with attendees at stand G201.

Being the UK’s leading event for Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas harnessing, thousands of visitors flock to UK AD & Biogas each year.  As those working across the energy sector strive towards adopting greener, cheaper and more efficient forms of power, this year’s event is set to be an exciting one.  An impressive array of seminars from some of the industry’s leading figures will provide attendees with numerous and varied technical insights into how organisations can thrive through the usage of AD and Biogas.  There will also be a number of opportunities to discover the very best AD technology for sewage treatment, food waste, farm and small-scale-plants, community and micro-scale AD plants, gas upgrading and bio-methane vehicle technology.

Among the 300-strong list of exhibitors, Andover-based shentongroup will be interacting with those interested in complementary AD and Biogas technologies to help boost their profitability and efficiency, in particular, Combined Heat and Power (CHP).  Unveiling the new Quanto range of larger CHP systems from Tedom, shentongroup will be focusing attention at the event to the 6 Quanto models that run using biogas to produce cheaper, greener electricity.  As with all CHP systems, the Quanto units will provide copious volumes of hot water and heating through the harnessing of the heat produced from the electricity generation process.

shentongroup’s Managing Director, Jody Meek, commented on the company’s presence at this year’s event: “With Combined Heat and Power taking off throughout the globe, UK AD & Biogas is an exhibition we really look forward to.  Being the sole distributor of Tedom CHP units across the UK and Ireland, a number of units across the range run on biogas.  The arrival of the new, larger Quanto models means that organisations can enjoy up to 10,426kW of electrical output and 9825kW of heat output”.  Jody added: “With a number of qualified CHP experts available at the event, shentongroup invites attendees to book a meeting with a team member at stand G201”.
