Now I am not going to give you a definitive answer as I cannot prove it scientifically; however I am going to attempt to open your mind to the possibility. Imaging you are listening to your favourite radio show and you are asked by a person that has no concept of radio how it actually works. Now in layman's terms you may refer to waves in the air being transmitted then being received by your radio.

However there is a problem you can't actually step outside and show them these waves, nor say you can feel them or hear them but you know they exist as you can hear them on radio. You may not be that surprised if your technologically challenged friend believed you had some super powers or were in fact crazy to even suggest such an illogical idea, even if it is true.

However these very same waves and the transmitter and receiver were all conceived in the mind before they ever existed. Yet we really do not know lot about our brains true potential.

If a mind can create the technology then is it really that difficult to assume that some peoples' minds may well have receivers and transmitters other than your traditional 5 senses that you are aware of. Particularly as some animals and insects have sensors that are radically different from our own.

A person may be dead as far as a scientist can prove; however is their essence that made them alive actually gone. Can you really state where your essence is and even what it is or how it works! If we can't answer these basic questions then we really cannot be sure if it dies when our physical body dies or if it exists forever.

If it does exist forever, as many religions believe, then our mind will be the first to receive a message or create a method to do so.

I cannot dismiss mediumship anymore than radio waves as I have tools to tune in to both, however I can scientifically prove either. However if psychic medium messages were not accurate and relevant to the client then would these type of psychic services still exist. The human race is still evolving, it is possible that psychics today are just showing a glimpse of our true potential

CHAPTER 10 NIGHTMARE ON MARE STREET

Mare Street, London, birth place of The Bastard. The eye opener, trough of all peaks that is assuming there were any real peaks before he relocated. The perfect hide out for such a stand out professional, harboring some of the street’s finest; this would become his breeding ground. Everyday, a new lesson would be learned while creeping through the back streets of the back streets late at night amongst the filthiest of the filth- prostitutes, dealers, addicts, gangsters, hustlers, a bastard’s paradise. There were places where the police wouldn’tgo through unless they really had to. Though never accepted as a true rebel, he never needed to be accepted, he never really needed anyone. Anyone who was to play a part would be treated as a paid professional, and paid. He would always come through as the untouchable, unstoppable though with a humble outer shell because he was 'invincible'. Through the rainy of all rainy days he would still travel through in the dark not even concealing any treasure as if testing his 'invisibility' and when faced with danger, he would always just look into the future as usual as if beaming himself into it. He would stare in the eyes of any potential opposition man or beast and everything would be fine, apparently. He would claim that his battles in fact took place in a parallel reality, his world, where he would always be victorious. He would emerge unscarred when he traveled to wherever it was he went.

Many would say he was weak but who cared? Surely not him, he was young, played dumb and stayed on that rum which would of course take its toll.

Why would anyone ever have to play dumb especially in the streets? The bastard would occasionally wander into forbidden territory, other peoples paths- “Ëœother worlds', in pursuit of his own fortune, since he would only know what he learned, nobody would tell or advice him where to go or what not to do, in fact there were no advisers, hence he would pose as the sheep, rather than the wolf to avoid scrutiny from the shepherds-the authorities, or other wolves.

At some point he would forget the little he knew about himself, the only thing to live for was the pelf, no credit cards or bank loans, and street credit would only get you through the streets and if possible keep you IN them. Of course, there would be a wave of depression waiting at every corner, the down fall would always be close by but never immediately in front or behind- all around, surrounding as did the demons and the now familiar stench of the 'bastard balm', for the calm until calm turned the enemy, holding back even his spirit and killing his passion.

The drive to rise to any occasion had been lost. Calling it quits was now a must, but after endless failure and the customary proclamation -“I've been cursed!“, the result was another hasty request for the now apparently almighty Rizzla “Ëœcigarette’ rolling papers.

Mare Street, to the bastard was a land of the living dead. The Bastard perceived an addict as the perfect example of a soul hindered by human desire, the mind trying to achieve the “Ëœhighs’ of heaven, while the body is unconsciously craving the absolute peace and calm of death leaving the soul neglected most of the time. Pain would be the most effective cure. One would have to be knocked out of this unconscious state hence the stomach aches that the poor bastard must eventually face as his salvation would ideally include clean lungs and wealth of health.

For years without success, dark lords of the underground would try to gain control of his then seemingly vulnerable mind for the energy he could be granted access to owing to his good nature, persistence and knowledge about the virtues and humanity.

It seemed all but he would know how to use or even find this energy which he was now becoming aware of inside him. However, it wasn't for him to find or use. In fact it was better hidden as the bastard would most likely have misused, if not exploited it. He had received energy from the spirit world that was unique to his path of travel, his life, what would be done with it would now be up to the source.

The same scenario has been played out year after year. Families plan regular trips up north at Christmastime in search of the perfect Christmas tree. They trek into the woods with ax in hand searching until they find it. After it’s been located, chopped down and carried back it is then securely fastened to the top of the vehicle. But accidents do happen and this is where the story really begins. This time the tree was not secured properly .The first sharp turn while the vehicle was traveling at a fair rate of speed, proved to be the tree’s undoing. It was gone. Fortunately when this occurred there was a break in the traffic and there were no vehicles in the right-hand lanes. It was a sight to see.

There it was as if jettisoned from the family’s vehicle. The world’s first flying Christmas tree! It soared through the air across three highway lanes and finally landed on the curb as it continued another twenty feet up the side of the embankment. There it rested while being watched by four pairs of eyes. Three were the children’s and the fourth was the family dog. The four stared transfixed, eyes wide open, while looking out the rear window of the family’s mini van. It was way too dangerous for dad to stop the vehicle in order to search for the tree, so the only thing to do now was to find an exit along the highway in order to begin the search, this time, for the second most-perfect Christmas tree.

About an hour later, traveling along the same highway was young Becky in the back seat. Becky is eight years old. Her family has been enduring hard times these last few months. Her mother has two jobs which barely bring in enough money to pay for the rent and buy groceries. Their ten year old minivan has four bald tires and there is barely enough fuel in the tank to make the drive home. Becky’s father died last year at Christmastime and life doesn’tseem to hold much promise for Becky and her mother right now.

Becky had just asked her mother the same question and her mother replied with the same answer, “no, we are not getting a Christmas tree this year, Becky. We simply can’tafford one.“ Becky didn’task again. At least not out loud and not her mother. This time she asked Jesus. Under her breath she prayed, “Oh please Jesus. I am only asking for one thing this year at Christmas, a Christmas tree. I don’twant anything else. My dad loved Christmastime. We would always decorate the tree together while mom was in the kitchen baking Christmas cookies and other treats.“

At that moment it happened. The minivan started jerking. It was running out of gas. Becky’s mother turned the steering wheel sharply to the right so as not to be near the speeding traffic as it quickly sped past their stalling vehicle. The problem was that she misjudged the road and ended up by steering the minivan into a ditch. The van was now firmly stuck in the ditch alongside the highway.

The engine was now dead. It was Christmas Eve. Becky and her mother were in a stalled
vehicle at nighttime on the edge of a highway with the wind howling through the nearby
trees. It was icy cold outside and beginning to snow heavily. Things couldn’thave looked
any bleaker than at this moment. Becky’s mother was now overwhelmed with their situation. She couldn’ttake it anymore. She placed her head down into her gloved hands and broke down in tears. In the back seat Becky couldn’tunderstand what was happening. For a moment she couldn’tsee her mother in the front seat. She began to panic, and then realized that her mother was bent over in the darkness sobbing.

“Momma, what’s happening? Why are you crying?“ she asked frantically.
“I won’tlie to you honey. I was crying. I don’tknow what we’re going to do. I don’tknow what’s going to happen to us tonight. We don’thave a cell phone and the snow is blowing everywhere. No one will be able to see our car in this blizzard. Oh I wish your father were still here with us“ she answered in tears.

“But mom“ Becky replied, “Didn’tyou and dad tell me that when a person is in trouble they should always pray to Jesus? Didn’tyou tell me that Jesus promised that He will always be with us?“
“Well yes, I did.“ replied her mother.
“Then that means we are not alone in this car. There’s not just two of us here. There are three of us, you, me and Jesus.“
“I guess you’re right Becky“ her mother answered. At that moment Becky’s eyes opened wide. “That means that daddy is near us too!“ Becky shouted: “Because daddy is with Jesus, then he must be here too!“

Becky began looking all around the car. Then she looked out the window. “I see a light!“ she shouted. Becky’s mother quickly turned in time to see a bright light beaming through the swirling snow. Yes, it was a light and it came from a flashlight being held by a police officer.
“Are you folks all right in there?“ he called to them.
“Yes, we’re ok.“ They both called back. The policeman told Becky and her mother to stay in the vehicle while he took a look around it. A couple of minutes later he came back and told Becky’s mother that he had called a tow truck and it would be here in about fifteen minutes.
“In the meantime the three of you can sit in my cruiser where it’s warm until we have your van up and running again.“ suggested the officer.

Becky’s mother asked him what he meant by “Ëœthe three of you’. The officer replied,
“Oh, the gentleman who waved me off the highway told me that his wife and daughter were stuck in their van by the side of the road and in the ditch. He ran ahead and I followed him until I lost sight of him, just before I saw your van. By the way, where is he?“

Becky and her mother were speechless. Suddenly there was a loud noise as something hit the side of their van. They all ran to the far side of the van to see a Christmas tree which must have rolled down the embankment.
“It has a price tag on it! Daddy bought it for us mommy!“ yelled Becky. “How did this all happen?“ wondered Becky’s mother aloud.

Becky answered: “Jesus, mommy, Jesus!“

Among the various codes of Jewish Law, Maimonides singularly estab¬lishes criteria by which to identify Moshiach. For the Jew, only someone who meets these criteria could possi¬bly be Moshiach (the Messiah) and actually bring the promised world of good.

Let\'s review this definitive ruling by Maimonides on the identity of Moshiach. We will find that identifying Moshiach is a two-staged process: After a first set of accomplishments, the individual in question becomes characterized as the presumed Moshiach. After the second set of achievements he is characterized as the definite Moshiach. We will analyze this law, point by point in relation to what is known about the Rebbe. This will help us evaluate the rationality of the claim that the Rebbe is Moshiach, at least from the standpoint of Jewish Law.

Maimonides states:

"If a king will arise from the House of David who is learned in Torah and occupied in the observance of commandments as prescribed by the written and oral law as was David, his ancestor, and he will compel all of Israel to walk in the way of the Torah and reinforce the breaches in its observance and he will fight the wars of G-d, we may then presume him to be the Moshiach. If he does this and is successful and is victorious over the nations around him, and builds the Temple in his place and gathers the dispersed, then he is definitely Moshiach. And he will perfect the world to serve G-d with one purpose ..."

The Presumed Moshiach

“ËœIf a king will arise from the house of David’ The Rebbe’s of Chabad trace their paternal lineage, through the renowned R\' Yehuda Loewe of Prague, all the way back to King Solomon and his father, King David, of the Tribe of Yehudah.1 The Rebbe has been formally accepted as a king by hundreds of thousands of Jews and quite a few non-Jews throughout the entire world. This was illustrated by thousands of signed documents pledging loyalty to his status as a king. His followers accept his instructions as words of royalty. The Rebbe\'s publications since early 1991 have been distributed under the name, "Royal Edict“ or “Words of the King" (Dvar Malchus in Hebrew), with the Rebbe\'s approval.

“ËœLearned in Torah and occupied in the observance of commandments as David his ancestor’ The Rebbe\'s knowledge of Torah defies description. He is readily conversant in the entire Tradition from Sinai. He has constantly revealed new teachings and explanations of concepts in all areas of Torah. The Rebbe offers penetrating insights into seemingly mundane matters and connects them to the Torah, showing how everything in this world serves an integral purpose in G-d\'s plan.

His expertise on the entire Torah is accepted not only by his followers, but also by the greatest non-Chassidic scholars through¬out the Jewish world, who exhibit great respect toward the Rebbe. These include Rabbis Moshe Feinstein, Shneur Zalman Auerbach, Aharon Soloveitchik, Pinchas Hirschprung, the Rogatchover Gaon, the Baba Sali, and the chief Rabbis of Jerusalem and of the State of Israel. Their acknowledgment of the Rebbe\'s genius in Torah is a matter of public record.2

The Rebbe\'s lifestyle was an unblemished example of complete harmony with Torah. His personal standards of Jewish observance are unsurpassed, whether in commandments between man and his Maker, or between man and his fellow. The following story provides an indication of his uncanny spiritual sensitivity.

One Saturday afternoon, several thousand followers had gath¬ered to hear the Rebbe speak. He came in, sat down, and said nothing at all. After a brief while, he quietly told one of his follow¬ers that "now they want me to break the Sabbath". They figured out that someone must have concealed a tape recorder and a quick, thorough search revealed a hidden tape recorder left on to record the Rebbe speaking. Once the situation was dealt with, and the Rebbe could speak without doing prohibited creative work on the Sabbath, he convened the Chassidic gathering as planned.

One may ask, is anyone capable of being perfect in their observance of 613 commandments for an entire lifetime? If you have such a question, consider the follow¬ing story about the Chofetz Chaim, a saintly, Jewish sage of about a century ago. He was called into a courtroom as a character witness for someone. Before he stood up to testify, the man\'s lawyer intro¬duced the Chofetz Chaim to the court with a true account of an incident involving him. Once a man broke into the Chofetz Chaim\'s home to steal his possessions. As he was running away with the loot, the Chofetz Chaim ran after him calling to him, "consider the stuff as yours. I disown it." He did this in order that the man would not be guilty of theft. Hearing this, the judge said to the lawyer, "Now do you really think he did that?" The lawyer answered, "I don\'t know, Your Honor, but they don\'t tell stories like that about me and you."
