What’s new in this release?

We are pleased to announce the release of Aspose.Email for .NET 1.8.0. This month’s release provides support for adding ASCII emails to Unicode PST. We have also made some enhancements regarding the display name of existing Personal Storage files in Outlook. Finally, we have fixed a few issues regarding attachment names in email messages, setting headers for newly created MapiMessage instances and copyright information of the Aspose.Email assembly.  The main new and enhanced features added in this release are listed below

  • Implemented the feature for adding ASCII messages to UNICODE PST
  • Added functionality to change the Display Name of an existing PST
  • Application halts is fixed when opening .EML with Subject starting from “=?iso-8859-1?Q?”
  • Description and copy rights information now updated in the properties of Aspose.Email.dll
  • Attachment file name is cut down to 8 character format is now fixed.
  • Now can Add/Set Headers for a newly created MapiMessage
  • Aspose.Email for .NET 1.7.1 does not show up in Visual Studio 2010 .NET Reference Tab is now fixed
