Cherrystone Auctions, a prominent stamp auction house in New York City, will hold an upcoming auction from June 13-14 at its New York City galleries. Cherrystone states that the auction will feature a total of 1,474 lots of rare stamps, from numerous vendors and estates. According to Cherrystone, the auction will feature stamps from all over the world, with stamps from each country being auctioned off in the following order: the bidding will begin with stamps from the United States, followed by stamps from Austria, then stamps from Belgium, then stamps from France (and colonies), after which will follow stamps from Germany (and colonies), followed by stamps from Italy, Liechtenstein, Poland, Russia, Spain, and Scandinavian countries.

Cherrystone announced that it is also offering an outstanding, intact collection of the first issue of Luxembourg, which will feature - among others - a unique combination cover and unused block of four Number One. Cherrystone is also highlighting its Great Britain and British Commonwealth stamps, which features Victoria and George V singles and sets. The auction will conclude with 100+ large lots and collections, which will range from single-country collections to multi-carton worldwide groups of stamps and covers.
