New York, New York- The first annual Curious on Tanzania Culture Fest, which will celebrate the country’s many untold wonders, will take place on Saturday, September 5th, 2015 from 5 PM to 9PM at Punto Space,325 West 38th Street, New York City.

The first event of its kind, the Curious on Tanzania Culture Fest aims to bring the Tanzanian experience to travel enthusiasts, tastemakers, local Tanzanians as well as to present opportunities to travel to and experience Destination Tanzania.More than 200 people are expected to attend.

Event highlights will be dinner by Tanzanian Chef James Lupembe, live music by Tanzanian singer Tina Kakolaki, performances by Tanzanian artists and dancers. All proceeds from a raffle for Tanzania products will support Maendeleo, a non-profit that supports the training of medical students in Tanzania.

She added, "We hope this event will encourage more people to come and explore Tanzania’s world renowned natural wonders and wildlife, as well as visit our cultural tourism circuit.”

Curious On Tanzania, a social traveling platform, offers unique Tanzanian experiences within and outside the country, including Tanzania-related events, group travels, and storytelling through its web-series.
