Colortrac, award winning innovator, releases the most exciting ever wide format scanner, SmartLF Scan!

Simplicity Built In
Designed for enterprises who may have felt that wide format scanning was previously out of their reach, SmartLF Scan! requires no PC or software and has simplicity designed in with features such as semi-automated resolution control.

Total Flexibility
Available in 24” and 36” versions and weighing just 5.2kg (24” model), SmartLF Scan! is equally suited to use as a networked scanner or in portable mode when out of the office. To support collaboration where and when it is needed, SmartLF Scan! arrives in its own tough, wheeled carry case.

“SmartLF Scan! reinvents large format scanning, opening it up to a much wider audience. Users are no longer tied to their PC. Working like a digital camera, records can be saved within the scanner, ready for download when needed,” says Siobhan Scott, Product Marketing Manager.

Product Manager Declan Tyler, adds, “SmartLF Scan! produces the high scan quality the SmartLF brand is known for but in a completely new way. Based on Colortrac’s patented SingleSensor, SmartLF Scan! is the world’s first completely self-contained large format scanner. As an entry level scanner designed for scanning newer, good quality documents, SmartLF Scan! complements our existing range of large format scanners perfectly.”

Notes for Editors
Founded in 1989, Colortrac is a pioneer of large format colour scanning and the leading innovator in affordable colour and monochrome wide format scanning technology.

Colortrac provides both CCD and CIS scanners to suit differing needs.

Colortrac’s patented technology, SingleSensor, is in the heart of Colortrac’s scanners. SingleSensor requires virtually no routine maintenance by users and provides high definition, exceptional colour and dimensional accuracy, combined with ultra-fast scan speeds.

Designed for frequent users and those who require thick media and totally natural images, Colortrac offers the SG scanner range. Using LEDs instead of fluorescent tubes, this provides all the benefits of CCD without the traditional downsides.

Colortrac’s success is recognised by two Queen’s Awards; the 1999 Queen’s Award for Export Achievement and the 2012 Queen’s Award for International Trade.

Colortrac’s headquarters is located near Cambridge, UK. Colortrac has offices in China, USA, Japan, Singapore, Denmark, and Mexico.
