Opening a new business with a 2 year old and 1 year old while pregnant isn’tfor the faint of heart“¦I have to find my own balance every day. Hopefully our studio will encourage and inspire people to practice Pilates at any age, stage or phase of life and actually enjoy the process.“

Pilates (“puh-LAH-tees“), was first started by Joseph Pilates who was born in Germany in 1880. As a child, he suffered from Asthma, Rickets and Rheumatic Fever. Pilates studied anatomy, Eastern and Western forms of exercise including Yoga, wrestling and acrobatics. Exercise became a way of life and a means of managing his health. Joseph said, “In 10 sessions you will feel the difference, in 20 you will see the difference, and in 30 you will have a whole new body.“

Make no mistake about it, getting one’s physical body in shape takes work, however now you have an opportunity to discover how to get a jumpstart on meeting your health and wellness goals at www.pilatesvillage.com.
