10, June 2015: Renowned skiing holiday company Ski Amis are recruiting for the 2015 — 2016 season for both their resort and UK office positions. This looks to be an exciting opportunity for candidates with a passion for sales and strong customer service skills, or who enjoy skiing in the Alps and creating the perfect holiday experience for clients.

Positions in the French Alps and UK

A spokesperson for the company confirms minimum requirements for the positions based in the French Alps resort include candidates being over the age of 21, and a UK resident with a UK bank account, residential address and existing permanent UK National Insurance number. Candidates also need to hold a full EU driving license, which they have had for a minimum of two years (and have no more than three penalty points on the license).

A Range of Skills

Ski Amis are particularly interested in candidates with good skiing skills, including previous experience of skiing in the Alps and knowledge of the Three Valleys and Paradiski areas. Hospitality or catering experience is important for chalet roles, and experienced drivers who have done some form of work related driving or have a driver CPC or RoSPA advanced driving certificate are encouraged to apply. French language skills are not essential but come as a welcome bonus, as do skiers who have experienced catered chalet holidays themselves and are aware of the high customer service required.

Great Conditions

Working conditions promise to be competitive, with plenty of perks including allocated time for skiing in the Alps most days. Workers will be given lodgings in the chalets or external studios and will be provided with free season equipment rental, including skis, snowboards, boots and poles. Comprehensive paid training is provided and covers all elements of the job, alongside emergency medical and accidence insurance including repatriation to the UK in the event of a serious injury.
