Beverly Hills, CA — January 21, 2016
Rand Rusher, R.N., of RR Aesthetics, a medical aesthetics practice located in Beverly Hills, CA, appeared alongside board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Leif Rogers in an episode of Aesthetic TV to discuss reasons for the growing number of men who are undergoing plastic surgery. The renowned Beverly Hills aesthetics team also noted how face and body enhancements are changing the lives of modern men. The guest appearance was filmed live at the Aesthetic Show 2015. The show was held from July 9 to 12 at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas.
Studies show that the number of men who are turning to plastic surgery has increased in recent years. Most men who go under the knife do so to improve their personal lives and get ahead in business. Together with Aesthetic TV host Stuart Brazell, Rand and Dr. Rogers talked about how male plastic surgery is doing more than just improve patients' appearances. The episode also featured discussions about trends in male aesthetics and whether plastic surgery is more acceptable among men in the modern society.
According to Michael Moretti, the Chairman and Founder of The Aesthetic Show, male aesthetics procedures have a consistent growth rate of 12% each year. Moretti added that male plastic procedures are the “fastest growing trends” in the plastic surgery industry.
In the episode, Rand and Dr. Rogers agreed that most men are generally open to the idea of enhancing their features through plastic surgery. The shift in the industry brought an influx of new patients, revitalizing the entire business.
Rand and Dr. Rogers are no stranger to TV appearances. In 2011, Rand became the star of the reality show Pretty Hurts, which shows viewers how Hollywood stays looking good and has aired in over 38 countries. Dr. Rogers was featured in a special episode of Plastic Empire, a show produced by The Aesthetic Show, and an episode of E! TV series Botched to discuss his work on the “Human Ken Doll," Justin Jedlica, who appeared on the episode of Aesthetic TV as well. After researching Dr. Roger’s extensive plastic surgery experience, specifically with the latissimus dorsi muscle, and evaluating his impressive bedside manner, Jedlica enlisted Dr. Rogers to give him back implants as well as perform vein ablation on his forehead.
